Meagan holds a B.A. from Old Dominion University and an M.A.Ed. from The College of William and Mary, specializing in Special Education. With over 13 years of experience in secondary public education, she has served as an Instructional Coach and Special Education Program Director, actively contributing to district improvement teams for Denver Public Schools, Strive Preparatory Schools, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
In her current role as the Executive Director and Founder of AlignED, Meagan is dedicated to supporting the nationwide development of sustainable Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) practices, emphasizing implementation and improvement science. Her approach centers on understanding the holistic needs of students and teachers, with the goal of enhancing high-impact, low-burden adult practices. Through AlignED partnerships, she strives to assist school communities in adopting an implementation process that fosters continuous improvement, ultimately supporting teacher retention and positive outcomes for all students.
